Our History
The Ballroom at Tanglewood emerged from the idea that barriers must be broken. The speculator events traditionally reserved for a select crowd should be available to anyone, regardless of cultural background, orientation, belief, and budget.
To accomplish this goal, only the perfect venue would do. With a position on a prime avenue in Houston’s Uptown area and stunning ability to twist light, sound, and space into something special.
In 2022, we jumped at the opportunity to take our idea from dream to reality. With 10,000 feet of configurable space spread across two floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a cozy outdoor space overlooking Houston’s skyline, it’s always what we wanted The Ballroom at Tanglewood to be.
Opening Our Doors To The World
The Ballroom at Tanglewood team implemented its plan to remodel. As expected, waves were made. No inquiry was turned away, and packages were tailored to each client’s unique situation.
The long journey has just begun, but we feel strongly that the best is yet to come. Our team put its heart and soul into every occasion, which is reflected in client testimonies. Frequently Asked Questions
We require that you use our in-house catering team or obtain approval from our event team if you require an outside caterer to meet your cultural requirements. This ensures that your event will have an impeccable, full-service catering experience, so every facet of your event meets our standard of service.
The Ballroom has a full mixed beverage liquor license and offers cash or hosted premium bar packages that can be custom designed to fit your group’s needs. Our bar packages come complete with all bar staff that would be required for impeccable service.
A signed contract accompanied by a non-refundable deposit of 100% of the venue rental will secure your date.
