The Ballroom at Tanglewood was founded to better lives in Houston, not just make a buck. We strongly believe getting involved brings positive, measurable change to the communities we serve and our business.
While financial support is critical, it only goes so far. We underwrite fundraisers for nonprofits to provide space and personnel for charitable causes. Our team gives their time, resources, and skills to help those in need wherever possible.

Houston is home to the Texas Medical Center, the largest hub of healthcare research, innovation, and treatment in the southwestern United States of America. The Halo House’s mission is to help save the lives of cancer patients battling leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma by offering them access to clean, affordable housing while visiting the TMC.
As an international business center, Houston sees visitors from around the world. A byproduct of its global recognition is sex trafficking. The Houston 20 advocates for the end of sex trafficking, such as changing laws and backing organizations that support survivors.

Frequently Asked Questions
We require that you use our in-house catering team or obtain approval from our event team if you require an outside caterer to meet your cultural requirements. This ensures that your event will have an impeccable, full-service catering experience, so every facet of your event meets our standard of service.
The Ballroom has a full mixed beverage liquor license and offers cash or hosted premium bar packages that can be custom designed to fit your group’s needs. Our bar packages come complete with all bar staff that would be required for impeccable service.
Our in-house tables and chairs are complimentary with all venue rental space. We offer tables in all sizes to accommodate anywhere from 4-12 guests per table and our rich mahogany-colored, rounded millennium chiavari chairs can be customized with either black or white cushions.
